Behavioral & Lifestyle Interventions
Even in the GLP-1 era, intensive lifestyle therapy remains foundational and amplifies pharmacologic and surgical outcomes. The track will review modern dietary patterns — Mediterranean, very-low-carbohydrate, time-restricted eating, and protein-prioritized approaches for lean-mass preservation — alongside the Look AHEAD long-term cohort, the role of resistance training, and digital CBT for binge eating and emotional eating. AI-assisted dietary intake (food recognition, continuous glucose feedback), wearable activity tracking, and the integration of behavioral therapy with anti-obesity medications will receive dedicated sessions.
